Nieddittas mussels are bred in the middle of the Gulf of Oristano. We own around 86 hectares of mariculture plants, mainly long-line arrays, divided into 3 areas: the largest covers 410,000 m² and is classified as tidal zone A; the other two are classified as tidal zone B.
The tidal zone A area is considered a NATURAL COMPOUND: this means that our sea waters are so clean that, by law, we could sell our Nieddittas without going through the purification phase.
