Another delicacy dedicated to gourmets and lovers of sea flavours. Nieddittas lumachinos or sea snails are small molluscs (the shell is 2 to 3/5 cm long) that food lovers look for and appreciate, cooking them in different ways. Depending on where you are in Italy, they are also called lumachine (snails), using the feminine form. Whatever name you use for them, Nieddittas sea snails are very tasty and unique because of their natural hot taste. To enhance their flavour, you can stew them with tomatoes and hot pepper, but there are many recipes for Nieddittas sea snails, depending on personal taste. With garlic and parsley, just boiled and served with oil and lemon, or used for delicious seafood sauces: many different ways to taste the unique flavour of these small delicacies of the Italian sea.
